The best way to educate our future leaders is to get them INTERESTED in whatever we are teaching them. Interests will generate curiosity and our young minds are curious in exploring. Let them explore education with our guidance!!! Your thoughts?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dk60sYrU2RU

I agree with what you are sharing but to not totally to the video. Learning by curiosity is good but what if - the learner does not get it right? I was listening to a friend who was sharing about the online course from Pamoja and he is having problems with both parents and students as the course is not meant for ESL learners. Cannot completely depends on learning by curiosity.

Hi John, thank you for your comment. I share your views regarding total autonomy. It should be 'learning by curiosity under teacher's guidance and supervision'. Just like the PYP model of 'inquiry based approach'. Students should be given the freedom to think to explore, but proper instructions should be given to them so that they can stay on track and also constant effective questioning should happen to verify whether learning has taken place.
